Senior Year

It’s finally senior year,

which comes with a lot of fear

of what the future should hold.

Nothing really has me sold.

In need of advice,

oh, how that would be nice.

Lucky for me,

I found my own Robin Williams of chemistry.

Ignoring all other voices,

we went through my choices.

He shared his thoughts,

trust me, there were lots,

and helped me create

what should be my fate.

So now I have a mission

to become a pediatrician,

and all my gratitude I preach

to the one who really knew how to teach

both in the classroom and out.

He was my biggest mentor, no doubt.
