senior year

Dear Graduating Class,

The end is closer than it seems

We’re all walking the same halls in the same school

We’re in the same class

We’re doing the same homework

We’re taking the same test

We’re spending time with the same people

We’re wearing the same thing

We’re doing the same thing

We’re on the same team

We’re going to have the first of many lasts

We’re going to have our last first day of highschool

We’re going to go to our last high school football game

We’re going to play our last varsity game

We’re going to walk across the same stage on graduation day

We’re all going to go different places

We’re People who have spent their entire lives together

We choose where we go now

We will go separate ways

Will we comeback in 5, 10, 15, even 20 years

Will it be a contest to see who's done the most

Will it just be old friends catching up

Will we stay in touch

Will any of the things we went through together matter

We will always remember

We’re part of someone's memories

We have a place where we come from

We will always have a place to go back home to

We have a family we can always go back to
