The Sensation
fleeting, distant, disturbed
Afraid
trembling, shaking, convulsing
"Be Brave"
Your eyes poke holes into the wall I built
to protect, prevent, stop
people like you from entering
you entered, you came, you saw
everything that was within me
the monster that was eating me alive
the big black dog that never went outside to play
my deepest darkest secrets, and everything that I feared
you saw them, you saw them, you saw them
yet you left me
maybe the sensation was just all too much
maybe since I was falling
you didn't want to be the one to catch me
well i've fallen
I'm down
but you promised, you promised, you promised
you said you'd never leave
but here i am all alone
facing The Sensation
all alone
once
again
