The Sense of Love
Love:
I see it making people twist and turn in to spiraling depression after a breakup. When people are sad they tend to loose their grip on reality and start to fall apart.
I see it make dreams of love come true. When finding mr. Right was always there and you never knew. Up lifting and life changing for the better.
I hear it tearing families apart when love has abandonded them. Yelling and screaming at all the things that they have held back and never said.
I hear it making new coulpes giggle at silly little habits they have said. Whispers of "I Love You" slip out then an even quieter "I Love You, too" defines their relationship.
I smell the other man's colone still wafering in the air.
I smell the fresh flowers on the first date.
I feel the deadness of the house with no love.
I feel the warm sunlight in the moring after the first night together.
I taste the bitterness of saying good bye forever.
I taste the first kiss that lingers on my lips.
I fear that this love won't last forever.
I fear that this will be the last thing I say to you.
I say "How did is ever come to this?" as I walk out the door.
He says "I don't know." then looks away.
