Senseless
Ecclesiastes 7:7
7 Surely oppression destroys a wise man’s reason,
And a bribe debases the heart.
Senseless
You’ll never know ... a ray of hope
an idle thought ... or a dream caught
It seems so real and has appeal
like fulfillment of a hunger
Where is my heart ... that from the start
did not trust ... in deed a must?
Nowhere found without a sound
we know it surely no longer
Splashing mind ... not to kind
Confessionary ... illusionary
Far too late now out of date
never growing stronger
