The senses of life
I saw myself
from the window
of the future frame
stirring life in the eye.
I heard the throes
of past pangs
and inevitable blows
that screamed without
a listening ear.
I tasted victory
and drowned in defeat
as I stay true
to the tongue.
I smelled corruption
polluting the life I had
and inciting anger and anguish
as I followed my nose.
I felt that,
the deceit and conceit
that runs deep
and conceals itself
in the human skin.
Senses sensed in senseless
and experiences experienced in scrutiny
envelopes the unknown
to parcel the package of life.
