Sensitive

Soundless footsteps

Breathless cries

Echoing gasps

Keep running

 Never stop

Why?

Never reveal

Buried alive by your own expectations

Every thought numbs

Every comfort empty

Moonlit darkness tainted with tears

Glimmering, wide-eyed sorrow

Deep breaths

Covered tracks

Rebuild the endless façade

Just smile and wave

Impenetrable walls

Remain engaged but distant

Coveted emotions

Armored compassion

Sensitivity
