Sensitive

James 1:11 New English Translation (NET Bible)

11 For the sun rises with its heat and dries up the meadow; the petal of the flower falls off and its beauty is lost forever.

So also the rich person in the midst of his pursuits will wither away.

All about me

Sensitive to all my needs, for better or for worse

I am a great example of how to live for self

Wishing all God’s speed while caught in the curse

As my life shows ample trophies on a shelf

It started long ago when I took my first breath

I cried aloud to show that I had arrived

With my heart in tow, I did my very best

For everyone to know that attention, I knifed

All my life appears with self in the center

The entire universe moves all around me

The braveness and fears I’m the one to enter

As all things disperse in my selfishness to be
