Are the tears you shed right then ... streams of self-pity

or possibly worship and praise to God ... as you think you belong?

Do you love literature and its beauty ... do poems give you transcendent feelings?

Is it then your intellect driving you ... into sentimental songs?

Do you like to be close to nature ... and think about a detached existence?

Is that worship and praise to God ... where you think you belong?

Looking at other believers ... as materialistic and enmeshed?

It is your intellect driving you ... to embrace sentimental songs.

Just to receive all knowledge ... as the humble spirit passes you by.

Your life can’t be worship and praise to God ... where you think you belong.
