Separation

Anger

Pain

Confusion

We signed something like the Constitution

You said you wanna see me

Text me, call me, you just want us to be

But the separation, not free to see you like I want to

It makes me cry and the hurt stays like rain does morning dew

Your a college boy and imma high school lady

The separation drives me crazy

Separation, just the word makes me hurt

Feels like our loves been buried in the dirt

Dear Sweet Lover, I want us to stay

But the separation is pushing me away

To be is what we love

And what we keep trying to tug

Not to be is what we need

Though we will be broken and grieve.
