Seperate

Would you stay? Just a little while longer. Must you leave me right now? Would you let me feel your gentle touch Before I can feel it no more. And your beautiful lullaby voice. Won’t you sing me one more song? Leave me with a memory. of you. Not one of the things I miss Because I do not. ever. Want to miss You. No. Instead I want to remember And smile. Not cry because you are not here, but to Be happy because you were here when I needed you to be. Because you made me laugh When the tears fell from my eyes. Because you held me close when I felt Alone. And because of you, I can now go on Without you. But until then, before you leave, Will you hold me in your arms and tell me a story?
