Broken sand

Like broken glass

Brings memories

Of the past

Moonlight walks

Hand in hand

Across the land

Like broken sand

Broken sand

Like broken smiles

Like to hang around

For awhile

Pictures we took

Of the laughs

The smiling faces

Forever looking back

Like broken sand

Broken sand

Like a broken mind

Tends to look

Far behind

Searching for something

Anything new

To bring light to the past

Like broken sand

The broken sand

Has now been fixed

The broken minds

Pieced back together

The broken smiles

Light faces again

Now looking forward

No longer shattered

Unlike broken sand
