when the time comes for people to hear and the time comes for me to speak, who will listen?

the moment has passed, the moment has went, and all the words were left unsaid

i held my heart in my hands

i gave it to you to hold

I never got it back

when the time came for you to hear and the time came for me to speak, you tuned away

the moment passed, the moment went, and all the words were left unsaid

my hands now empty of my heart

your hands now hold all of my life

I will never get it back
