September

light came from the window

and fell on my arm

the other day

it felt a lot like you

warming me from the inside out

wrapping me in peace and contentment

I watch the world pass by

I am alone in this city

alone in my mind

yet you brush me on the arm

like a gentle motivation

“you are doing okay”

i said i wouldn’t look for you anymore

but I’m never as mad as i seem

how far can you be if you are in the sunlight?

What is this life about if not for feeling deeply, writing strongly, and trying to find God in everything?
