THE SERENADE OF THE BLUE SOUL
THE SERENADE OF THE BLUE SOUL
The serenade of the blue soul, here it comes!
O sing thy song! All hail to symphonic piece!
The blow of melody eludes from the hums,
O hear thy song! O hear the yell from the cease!
The melancholic beat is drummed to be heard,
With the guitar strumming the string of torment
Doth hail to the rueful piece ever been heard!
O hear thy song filled with atrocious moment!
O hear how the crescendo of angst echoes!
How the decrescendo of blithe on soundless!
A serenade with a verse of adieu, goes
The blue soul sings vehemently fearless
In this far-flung stage, that serenade echoes
It sung a wrath with the bell-chimes of silence
No dusk can break its morphine, nor the egos
Nor the words of dismay, nor mortal presence
Oh serenade! Oh, Wondrous song of the blue!
How lovely in the ears, how beauteous in heed,
Does that serenade booms in world so undue
That mellifluous sway, tattle theme, doth deed
The serenade of the blue soul, O rise up!
The unveiled tunes of cry, hidden tones of ail
Doth make a harmony from the deaf ears, wrap
O hear thy song! Perceive thy song! All doth hail!
