Serenity

Days like this, filled with peace.

Birds chirp their hyms

Squirrels hang from limbs

Everything— is at ease

Now I can finally be free

Leave my bondage

Walls taking me hostage

No limit to the heights that I can reach

Pain and anguish—

carefully slip away.
