Serenity of Scars
I want you to feel my scars, though they are not yet ready to be seen by human eyes.
I need your healing. I imagine it often.
I feel like you could cure them somehow. It’s odd.
I doubt you have cracks in your soft porcelain skin.
If an angel exposed all the flaws you’ve ever had, mistakes you’ve made and crimes you’ve committed, I could never believe such mendacity.
Your near perfection can heal all my downfalls and save me.
