Serpent

He was dark, chocolate with
smooth skin.
His stature wasn’t very immense but it was doable.
Somewhere around 6 feet even.
His hair was locked; dreaded.
Matted, wild dreads.
They were infant and
sprouted from his head as if they were seeds.
Despite his monotone speech his words
touched me;
caressed and smothered me
as I wish his hands did, his lips too…
They were full and
desirable. Just how I like them.

Lover of Cannabis he was.
You could tell by his scent.
His aroma heavily filled the air.
The sweet smell of Mary Jane
crept to your nostrils with ease.

He wore black at all times; my favorite color.
Seen as unapproachable,
dark and mysterious.
I ignored all signs.
Seen as sexy and
seductive is what brought me
closer… to him.

All these things I liked and soon fell deep
In love.
He made his way
Swiftly slithered into my heart.
The soft serpent he was.
