Serrated Surrender

Driven towards a cliff filled with the knowledge of thoughts

only

whose were those given?

A seven year old child knows so as if they could rule a world

An elder of ninety now knows what it was was really nothing

except for the mundane and personal it is only what helps pass the day.

Chopped into pieces

Sliced clean though some jagged seems to remain

until falling....

Shedding thoughts, clothing, life, memory

Taking wing to glide

and never return to nothing.
