Set Free

The stars up in the sky are beaming down,

bringing light to the earth

All of them combined couldn't amount to your worth,

you see the angels shinedown and kiss you,

crying rain because they miss you

We wonder why they hang so high up in the sky

with little to no reason why

As we hold hands

we sit back and wonder why

The stars twinkle,

as our world goes by,

but I see that twinkle in your eye

When you stop and look at me,

like a prisoner kept captive,

I've been set free.
