Set Them Free

Bound by chains, their bodies are used.

Young girls held against their will.

Sweet innocence is ripped away.

Alone, scared, and lost.

Bound by fear, held captive by abuse

And stuck in a living hell.

They have no freedom, they’re sold as slaves.

Beaten, bruised, and shamed.

Bound by silence, their screams go unheard.

Forced to give up their bodies to johns*,

They have no voice, no way to get out.

Silent, stuck, and hurt.

This is the sex trade.

We have the voices to echo their cries.

We have to ears to hear their pleas.

We have the hands to break their chains.

Let’s use these to set them free.

*johns are the men who pay to have sex with the girls who are in the sex trade
