Set Your Own Standard

Everyone wants the outgoing girl.

The girl who has long, blonde hair.

White teeth. Tan skin. Perfect body.

The list goes on forever.

You can't meet the world's standards of beauty.

It's daunting. Impossible. Pointless.

This is not what beauty is.

Beauty is not a scary thing.

Beauty is being who you want to be.

Be the bookworm. Dye your hair blue.

Throw out the make-up. Ditch the boy.

YOU are the definition of beauty.

Your hair, eyes, and body are gorgeous.

The only person you have to impress is yourself.

So, go on! What are you waiting on?

Set your own standard of beauty.
