Setting the Pace
Whether it be in life or a race,
You can set the pace,
You see others going hard,
Throwing out their every card,
But is that really what you wish to be?
Because really... what will set you free?
Live and let you destiny run,
Because only you will know when you are done,
Be not the follower of countless people,
Run on your own; climb up that steeple.
So that when the day comes that you have to face,
You can smile, because you set your pace.
