Settle love

The days keep going

no way to stop them

we live in the present

Yet I long for the past

the love that was once there

No longer exist

Over used words

bring much of loneliness

what happened?

what went wrong?

questions asked, never answered

cold nights once shared

no longer remembered

the love in your eyes the warmth of your hands

nows the death of what we once had

the sunlight that woke those lonely days; been replaced with clouds of gray

those lines marked across my face, once a smile; disappeared

no where to be found

those three words I miss to hear, now buried with pieces from this heart

the crying from my phone, you'll no longer hear

the music has been stopped, there's no way it could be brought back

it seems as if it were all a lie

for everything we once had, you only called

settle love
