Settling Misconceptions

Settling misconceptions

Leaving the tensions

Done with the one sided two sided war

I surrender.

With unclenched balled fists, I praise.

Realize nothing can compare

To the incomprehensible vastness you wear

Potency so strong

Only players will dare.

I soak in your physical brilliant blaze

Eyes glued shut, head pushed sideways

This is not a phase

Grace your eagerly parched cacti

Send a wave.

If not every so often

To remember the almost forgotten

Aid us a glimpse amid the black and white

Between morning and night.

The dusk and the dawn

Wake the withdrawn

Prevent trips down cracked roads of question

Pave cobblestoned lesson intervention

Allow us to heed the raved

The flying letters unscathed

Free the enslaved

Permit us to bathe in the everlasting residue of our burning sage
