The Seven Lights

Though dreams may seem near,
In view through our minds,

Motivation keeps us going;
Inspiration keeps us alive.

For some it's their parents
Or the sights that they've seen.
Most have an idol;
Most are just like me.

Seven lights flicker, hanging above a pitch black stage.
No audience, just darkness.
That is
Until each bulb begins to sway.

One is cracked,
Two are new,
Three are burnt out,
While the last is askew.

Together they form the perfect hue.

With a dance so synchronized,
Yet unique to each own.,
The stage quickly lights.
This stage they call home.

A sea of purple and accented white waves
Shifts to new spectrums as the light begin to flay.

Passion is burning in their fuses so powerful
Any view compared is considered impossible.

My inspiration, my idols
My courage, my hope
The wingless angels who always help me cope.

I'll never forget the way my heart turned violet with the motions of your grace,
Or how I met my closest peers,
How I supported you through the hardships and the fears.

Seven lights flicker, hanging in the heavens
Endless cheers for ot7.

One is golden,
Two are bright,
Three are beauty,
While the last is life.

Motivation keeps us going;
Inspiration keeps us alive.

For some it's their parents
Or the sights that they've seen.
I'll never forget the lights
Of whom I envy on my screen.

(A/N: This poem is dedicated to the Korean Pop band, BTS. Thank you for the memories. I purple you.)
