Seventeen 2
I’m just seventeen
I haven’t had a job
Or my first love
Mostly my heart throbs
With the emptiness I face
The love my friends share
All I’ve ever done is pray
To live without such care
They laugh and giggle
I tried to go along
But deep deep down
I know I don’t belong
They’re hearts wide open
Mine sealed shut tight
What I wish for
I won’t get without a fight
