Seventeen
I'm only seventeen
But I see couples left and right
I'm only seventeen
But I'm constantly putting up a fight
Between myself and life
I'm only seventeen
Yet loneliness is a thing
I'm only seventeen
And I'm too tired to sing
About the "joys" and "love" that I see
I'm only seventeen
But I feel twenty and twelve
I'm only seventeen
Responsiblilities on the shelves
A few, that is
I'm only seventeen
But I have a lot to write and say
I'm only seventeen
My thinking expands too far in a day
It can hurt my brain
And cause me pain
It goes on like heavy rain
But it stains
I'm only seventeen
But I have all these feelings
I'm only seventeen
I need to pray because He's the only one hearing
Most of the time
I'm only seventeen
I'm only seventeen
I am only seventeen
But my generation is depressed
Stressed
I'm only seventeen
But I listen to it all
I'm only seventeen
Gossip isn't that small
Like everything else
I'm only seventeen
I've been to the real world and back
Here is worse, now why is that?
I'm only seventeen
I'm not ready yet so ready
I'm only seventeen
Give me hell, be steady
But I know more than some "adults"
Quotations
Quotations
I can't stop using them as a revolt
I'm only seventeen
Not yet an adult
Only seventeen
That's all my class really knows how to say
"Where are your responsibilites?"
"Where is your head?"
"What is your purpose today?"
How would I know?
I mean-
I'm only seventeen.
(I wrote this a couple years back, and wanted it to be my first on here!)
