Seventeen and Waiting for Someday
Seventeen
And waiting on the world to move
Because she knows she'll move mountains
But now is not the time for foolish thoughts
Seventeen
And waiting for a new dawn
The new day is coming
But she can't feel it yet
Seventeen
And waiting, no, hoping, for a flash of light
Something to signify that tomorrow is here
But the steady beat of life marches on
