Seventh Grade English Class

cared

listened

carefully aware

every word dripped

from his mouth

like sweet poison

need more

ink flowed from my pen

scratched the paper

like erosion

no one else listened

no one else cared

no one else

carefully aware

always writing

poetry

in my blood

programmed

must keep writing

must never stop.
