Severance
I dreamt of a spider
harmless enough
who watched me bathe from afar.
I didn't mind his presence
He was still distant
But he took a step closer to me
So I put him back in his place far away,
But he kept crawling back nearer to me,
So I pressed my thumb against him and the wall.
I dreamt of a spider
who was harmless enough.
I, however, was not.
