Shackled Dove

Does religion free the Dove which makes us all.

Or does religion shckle the beaten Dove.

Could it mask the Dove in shaded black.

Could it make the Dove free at last.

For my Dove has no choice.

For my love has no place.

My Dove lies in the hand of another man.

Masqueraded by The Plan.

For my Dove does not soar.

For my Dove does not love.

But instead,

My Dove lies shackled,

Faded by The Plan.
