Shackles

Whispers of lies are Whisked away in chambers of his mind He trains himself Against the voices that criticize him. A superficial barrier is all that stands Between him and those Sinister years. He resents for being conceived in such a House. He wishes to be released from his shackles, To feel the frost on his wrists. To break from her hold, He wants to be free, to be Happy. Just an idea, A dream, An incompetent wish, Binding him to the ledge by Shackles like vines upon his wrists.
