Shade of Grey

I would take away that shade of grey.

That shade of grey that blocks the sun,

And keeps the light from everyone.

It moves and creeps as seasons change.

It thins and thickens to rearrange.

I hate how it finds a way,

To be a darker shade of grey

That rains and rumbles and rages and roars,

When you sworn I'd be over the day before.

I would take away that shade of grey,

That brings a diffference about your day.

I would move the clouds for the sun to portray,

Its glorious radiance to end dismay.

I would paint the horizon a shade of red

So when it rains, that'll show instead.

It would take away that shade of grey.

That shade of grey that blocks the sun,

And keeps the light from everyone.
