Shaded
She walks, never as if lonely, yet always with a want of stability.
The trees wrap the sunlight in grids where she walks.
Shaded. Her hands littered by it. The peaks of light reaching her skin births stars in the eyes of an observer.
The darker, wrapping her body like black lace were her shadow. Drowned in this abyss.
The breeze dare not disturb her hair. It is a massage of air. Left is the fragrance to scent the flowers.
Shaded. Bringing spring not by the sun. Her smile will blossom a rose. There is a thorn.
She hasn't the heart to give. It is broken. She hasn't a hand. It is closed. She hasn't the time. It is gone.
Shaded am I. Darkened and lost reaching out with my broken piece. My open hand. My once in a lifetime. Give me that time to make up for the lost grace of life left behind.
Shade the past. Brighten the future.
