Shades of Hope


Protected saplings; Symbols of what Anne Frank viewed for years. Her entries foretold what America would cherish, And gift to seven of the nine discriminated students Of Little Rock Nine. Tolerance was only an implemented law that day, But luckily, 40 years later, a Congressional Gold Medal proved America's appreciation.
