Shades of Red ( Insight on the Kennedy Assassination)

Tue, 06/12/2018 - 19:05 -- Emmalua

As final breaths escape with strain

Eyes look toward heaven, shocked with pain

Tough metal mixed with deadly fire

has pushed its way into the brain.

Dark red engulfs what was once a man

It fills leftover space, like grains of sand

Dark red consumes all that’s in its path

Wetting its victims in a rose-colored bath

Light red, no pink, is quickly darker stained

The charming pastel color so easily maimed

No pink, just red, is all that remains

Up high on a perch, steady eyes watch

Searching for signs that it’s hit the spot

No one know why hands shot than feet fled

But some people say that the reason is “Red”

Bright red fills a heart with blinding rage

Nostrils flare like a bull that’s escaped from its cage

Dark red engulfs all we know with no beat

And now all the answers are dead at our feet
