Shadow

Naked....

Souless....

Bewildered...

They see me on the street

But refuse to lend a penny

They see me cuddling under loose barely any sheets

Won't ask to put me in a shelter

Find me

But you won't

Lose me

And you will

I have to fight everyday for a spoon, knife and fork

Neither of these utensils will enter into my mouth

I am already starving from emptiness

The boy's see me

But they see a thin body they deem easy

Without wondering or knowing that my condition is withering to my bones

No one see's me unless I offer a penny or a $100 dollar bill

The shadow is a gift and a curse

The shadow is the last breath

The shadow is my life
