A shadow

Forgoten, and left behind

No one near me to hear

I would scream and cry

But I was in the shadows

You couldn't see me

I was hiding

Right in plain sight

You walked over me

Like you always did

Never stopping to analyze

You just walked

Why couldn't you ever stop?
