shadow

a shadow always stitcheD to my feet,

inEscapable madness that continuously haunts,

peoPle think it’s just a version of grief.

but its not, it’s much much moRe

it is a constant in my lifE,

affecting the way i think, the deciSions i make.

it doeS not come and go, but just stays,

a hIdden message all too clear to me.

nobOdy can understand me,

uNless they suffer the same fate.

but there are otHers just like me

survivors that have won thE battle

they have feLt my pain and know how to ease it

they treat, they heal, they give me hoPe.
