A Shadow

I have spent my life living in your shadow,

Following your every move.

Not down a path I wish to take,

I follow you, as to not forsake.

No longer can I follow you into this abyss,

No longer will I let fear guide me.

Now I wander alone,

No life and no home.

I am ghost,

A shadow looking for a host.

I will find myself in the darkness.

Heed my words,

The next time you see me,

You'll believe in ghosts,

You'll walk in my shadow.
