Shadow

what hides in the dark wants to remain unknown because to be revealed in light would shred happiness to the bone life is a secret we use it to hide the truth don’t give it away, we like to keep it from exposure of the frauds and facts of life but when the light invades the shade it’s an ugly mess then the guilt overrides us until we confess the secrets hiding in our shadows of darkness then the world is at peace and all is calm until once again the light is gone
