Shadow

She was alone, uttered the diminutive hole of her home.

With the congested walls, and lonely couch.

A compassionless girl too whispered the emptiness she thrived in.

Unhealthy mocked the cigarettes on a dingy table, while the cabinet gurgled empty of food.

An anti religious being screamed the music of calamity and hatred.

Not a woman of love spoke the darkness that swarmed in the enclosure of a home.

Depression horded like moths to a bright light

Murmured the colorless eyes of the troubled.

A man once existed here declared the frame alone atop a counter.

There were large shirts much too big for the woman to wear

Uttering the abandonment she welled in.

She used to love says the smile

That masked her long forgotten face.

There used to be happiness whimpered the

Old remaining memories that continued to haunt her room.

Forgotten spoke the phone that never rang.

Passions swelled whispered the dusty plaques on the walls.

Drawings sprawled on the floor.

Beamed of a brad mind, and blooming imagination.

Misfortune ran ramped cried out the old.

Decay of everything engulfed in long age.

Where was the happiness?

Questioned the small cat that

Purred for unstated attention at the door.

Dead thumped the heart

Of the lonely girl who lost more than her fiancé’.

Lost  was the girl muttered

The tainted future with no destination.

Poor spoke the empty wallet lying on the floor.

Where did he go?

Wandered the mind full of self-pity

While she sat alone holding oneself with frail brittle bones.

Dead she knew spoke the loss of hope.
