Shadow

Just a shadow in the hall.

Everyone  sees the shadow when they need help,

But she disappears after.

Just a resource, not a friend.

The shadow has spunk and humor within her broken puzzle,

but no one will take the time to piece her together.

Eventually the shadow will piece her own puzzle together,

and come out with a spot light.

Jaws dropping and her rocking,

the shadow will be left behind.
