Shadow


I walk, I go, I follow. The truth is hard, and yet, I swallow. This door is locked, stupid, broken key. Or maybe there's just something wrong with me... I've gone alone into the dark, a quiet evening in the park. One bright light reveals a form, but I'm not afraid, this is the norm. My shadow, so big and bold, steals the warmth and renders me cold. I've wondered... My shadow walks, and leaves me behind, The meaning of this, the answer I find The reason why the door stays locked to me, is because my shadow isn't who I thought it'd be. I wonder why my shadow stands front and divine... but then I realize , it's yours not mine...
