Shadow

To you, I am just a mere shadow

My feelings for you, I can't even show

Standing here, admiring you from afar

Wanting to talk to you, but that's just bazaar

You are the goal that I can't ever meet,

If you were mine, I'd finally be complete

I'm such a coward, I don't know why

I thought that maybe I am just shy

But that's not the problem, the problem is me

Somehow my mind isn't setting me free,

Insecurity always halts me from you,

and that's why I feel like my intention isn't true

I'm afraid that our love can never be

Because I realized that I am our own enemy.
