shadow on my shoulders
In my dream, i see two shadows. A shadow on my left shoulder with horns and a malicious laugh that brings fear down my spine telling me what I can and cannot do. And on my right shoulder a very unique shadow, a shadow with wings that bring ease and comfort about the good in life that awaits for me. As life goes on I find myself drowning in thoughts and pressure I wake up and gasp for freedom. “Give me all the ingredients it takes to be successful, I repeat, please surprise me. I thought being successful was finessing the system and owning expensive things I ask you again what is the ingredients for success, Because if it was just material things no one would ever be satisfied. My dream is for me to look back at myself and say….”I made it” the unknowing success that's been pondering in my head for years is finally mine. My dream is to continue looking forward no matter what roadblocks I encounter. I want my success to open minds to other people that the possibilities are out there and for that drive in them to spread like ink on water. I want people to know that as long as your complacent to being happy with your life then you've already won. Most importantly I want the shadow on my right shoulder to not only light up but to emerge and paint a picture of what's yet to come.
