A Shadow in the Night

Breathing, Thinking, Alive. I am alone once the sun falls and the moon takes its place for I am a sleepless dreamer searching for something that isn't there. Tossing, turning, eyes wide and awake, Why am I here? Where have they all gone? In sleepless slumber the world revolves but I am alone here for all are dreaming of better days for I am nothing but a Shadow in the Night.
