Shadow Sees

A shadow is not always there. And when it's there sometimes it's faint. It's whole existence from another, Of light that's blocked and Shade that's brought. Yet if we asked what it would say it'd be our best friend, without a doubt. I've seen them through the hardest times, And through the dumb mistakes. Yet every fall they've come back up, And wrote another word. We've made some art and saved another Brought strength and shade to those in need Though I have never seen the light I've watched my person grow And all that I would tell to them Is just how strong they are.
