Shadow Work
I want to tame
the beast inside
the creature
that lurks in the shadows
feeding off my fears and doubts.
The black knight…
Lady in black
never missing a shot
to the heart.
Cold as ice
eyes hardened and turned away
eyes so dark
her heart is blackened
from anger
and despair
She is angry.
So angry…
it boils to the surface
bubbling and toiling on
She was locked away
Rejected
and torn
from all she knew
The lady in white
The lady of the lake
were not her enemy
More than anything
she just wanted
to come home
to be whole again.
